Gail Hoover Birthday Bash History
The Charity Birthday Bash was founded in 2013 by Gail Hoover as a way of giving back to the community, helping neighbors and pets in crisis. All while having great fun!
Since then, the Gail Hoover Charity Birthday Bash has raised over $50,000. towards the mission of keeping all money raised in the Lehigh Valley helping both 2 and 4 legged neighbors in unique ways.
Since 2013, the funds have been used to support two deserving causes within the Lehigh Valley. One half always supports an animal shelter/cause. The Birthday Bash has donated to these Lehigh Valley organizations: The Center For Animal Health and Welfare, Sanctuary at Haafsville, No Nonsense Neutering, and Sunray’s Pitbull Rescure. Then in 2017, Gail came up with a truly unique idea... pet oxygen kits. Gail meet with City of Allentown, Fire Chief, Lee Laubach and offered to use the “animal” half of the Bash funds to outfit 1st responder vehicles in the City, (fire and police) with specially designed oxygen kits to help pets in crisis. It worked out so well in 2017 with Allentown, the City of Bethlehem was next in 2018. Now in 2019, the City of Easton vehicles will be outfitted, completing the tri-fecta of the Lehigh Valley region!
The other half always is donated to Fighting AIDS Continuously Together. Since 1986 FACT has been identifying, supporting and monitoring programs that provide direct and educational services within the serviced communities. An all-volunteer organization, FACT has since raised over $3,000,000 for the emergency need of Great Lehigh Valley residents affected by HIV/AIDS.
